Talentia 2026–2027 was organised with the aim of providing students with a platform to identify, nurture and showcase their individual talents. The programme focused not only on competition but also on building confidence, creativity, self-expression, communication skills and appreciation for different forms of art and culture.
The two-day programme was coordinated by Ms. Lavanya C and Ms. Jancy Babu and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Grades I and II. The programme included a well-structured sequence of welcome addresses, compering, competitions and a formal vote of thanks.
DAY 1 – 7th AUGUST 2026
The first day of Talentia featured the Fancy Dress Competition and Recitation Competition.
Welcome Address
The programme commenced with a Welcome Speech delivered by Ms. Jancy Babu, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, teachers and students and set an enthusiastic tone for the day’s events.
Recitation Competition
Ms. Kiruthiga served as the Master of Ceremony for the Recitation Competition, guiding the proceedings and introducing the participants and different segments of the event.
The Recitation Competition witnessed the participation of 64 students from Grades I and II. The students confidently presented their poems, demonstrating expression, pronunciation, voice modulation and memorisation skills.

Fancy Dress Competition
Zeeta Monis served as the Master of Ceremony for the Fancy Dress Competition.
The Fancy Dress Competition witnessed the participation of 88 students. The children came dressed in a wide variety of creative costumes and confidently presented their characters before the audience. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to develop creativity, imagination, confidence and presentation skills.

The second day of Talentia featured the Folk Dance Competition.
Welcome Address
The programme began with a Welcome Speech delivered by Ms. Fathima Mary, welcoming everyone to the second day of the Talentia celebrations.
Folk Dance Competition
Ms. Zeeta Monis served as the Master of Ceremony for the Folk Dance Competition, smoothly coordinating the proceedings and keeping the event lively and engaging.
The Folk Dance Competition saw the participation of 36 students. The performances were vibrant and energetic, giving students an opportunity to showcase their understanding of rhythm, coordination, teamwork and Indian cultural traditions.

Vote of Thanks
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Lavanya C, the Talentia Coordinator.
The vote of thanks expressed gratitude to the school management, Principal, teachers, judges, students and everyone who contributed towards the successful conduct of the programme. The support and cooperation extended by all involved played an important role in making Talentia 2026–2027 a successful and memorable event.

Conclusion
Talentia 2026–2027 was a vibrant celebration of the talent, creativity and confidence of young learners. Across the three competitions, 188 students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated their abilities in recitation, character presentation and folk dance.
The programme also gave students valuable opportunities to take on different roles such as compering and delivering welcome addresses, helping them develop communication, leadership and public-speaking skills.
The successful completion of the programme was made possible through the collective effort and cooperation of the school management, Principal, teachers, judges, coordinators, parents and students.
Most importantly, Talentia reinforced the message that every child has a unique talent, and when given the right platform, every child had the opportunity to shine.
