Christ the King Public School came alive with enthusiasm and creativity as it hosted TALENTIA 2026–2027, an inter-house cultural fest for students of Grades VI to X, on the15th of August 2026, post the Independence Day celebrations.
The event provided a vibrant platform for students to express themselves through speech, music and dance while fostering confidence, creativity, teamwork and healthy competition.
A Vibrant Display of Talent
The fest witnessed an impressive participation of 242 students across individual and group events. The elocution competitions attracted 121 participants, with students presenting their talents in English, Hindi and Kannada. Another 121 students participated in the group events, with 61 students taking part in group singing and 60 in group dance.
The elocution competitions showcased the students’ command of language, articulation, pronunciation, vocabulary and stage confidence. Participants competed grade-wise, demonstrating preparation, originality and poise before the judges.
Music that United the Houses The Group Singing competition brought together students in a spirited celebration of music and harmony. Ruby House emerged victorious with 40 marks, followed by Emerald House with 38 marks and Topaz House with 35 marks. Sapphire House secured 27 marks.
Rhythm, Energy and Expression
The Group Dance competition added colour and energy to the celebrations. Ruby House secured the first position with 58 marks, while Emerald House followed with 45 marks. Sapphire House earned third place with 42 marks, with Topaz House securing 41 marks. Folk and fusion dance forms added variety to the performances.
Behind the Scenes
The smooth conduct of TALENTIA was made possible through careful planning and coordinated teamwork. The events were organised across the Auditorium, Music Room, Primary Lab and AV Room, with faculty members assigned to judging, discipline, venue management and stage proceedings. The event was coordinated by Ms. Rose Maggie, Ms. Simmi Baby and Ms. Padmavati Naik, with the support of the faculty team.
Ms. Jennifer Susan served as the stage anchor, guiding the audience through the programmes with confidence and clarity. Mr. Vinayak Hegde supported the event through photography and documentation, preserving memorable moments from the celebrations.
A Fest to Remember
With disciplined organisation, enthusiastic participation and a wonderful display of student talent, TALENTIA 2026–2027 became a memorable occasion for the school community. The fest encouraged students to step onto the stage, discover their strengths and celebrate the talents of their peers.
More than a competition, TALENTIA offered students an opportunity to learn the values of confidence, collaboration, creativity, teamwork and leadership. It was a fitting celebration of the diverse abilities and youthful energy of the students of Christ the King Public School.
