Twenty-two students from Christ the King Public School, comprising 11
Scouts and 11 Guides, participated in the District Patrol Leaders’ Camp held
on 1st and 2nd August at Delhi Public School (DPS), Dasanapura.
The two-day camp was designed to nurture leadership, teamwork, discipline,
and responsibility among young Scouts and Guides.
The participants enthusiastically took part in a 3 km hike, engaging leadership
sessions on the roles and responsibilities of Patrol Leaders, and various teambuilding activities that strengthened their confidence and decision-making
skills. The camp also included knot-tying activities, which challenged the
participants and enhanced their practical Scouting skills.
One of the highlights of the camp was the vibrant campfire, where students
showcased their talents through songs, skits, dances, and cultural
performances, creating an atmosphere of friendship and unity. The tasty and
well-served food throughout the camp was appreciated by all the participants.
The camp concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where all
participants received certificates in recognition of their active involvement
and successful completion of the camp.
At the conclusion of the camp, Dr. P. G. R. Sindhia addressed the gathering
with an inspiring and motivational speech. He encouraged the Scouts and
Guides to become responsible leaders, uphold the values of Scouting, and
dedicate themselves to serving society with discipline and commitment.
On their return to school, Rev. Dr. Paul congratulated all the Scouts, Guides,
and the teachers for their enthusiastic participation and successful
completion of the camp.
He appreciated their dedication, discipline, and leadership, and presented
the participation certificates during the school assembly, encouraging the students to
continue living by the values of the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
The experience was both enriching and memorable, inspiring our Scouts and Guides to
become responsible, confident, and service-minded leaders.
