Discoveries: My Country | by Bhodak S (Grade 3, Green House)

Hello, everyone!

Today, I want to share some amazing discoveries about my country, India. Every day, I learn something new that fills me with pride.

Did you know that India is the birthplace of the number zero? A brilliant mathematician named Aryabhata introduced it, and now we use it in all kinds of math!

India also gave the world the game of chess, originally called “Chaturanga,” which helps us exercise our minds and think strategically.

And guess what? The fun game of Snakes and Ladders was invented here too! It teaches us important lessons about good and bad actions—just like life.

From yoga and Ayurveda to the decimal system and plastic surgery, India has made incredible contributions to the world. Every day, I discover more about how amazing my country is, and it makes me proud to be part of India’s rich history.

Thank you!
