On October 19, 2024, Christ The King Public School hosted an exciting Singing and Recitation Competition that showcased the incredible talent of our students from Grade 1 to Grade 10 and Nursery. The event featured various genres, including devotional, patriotic, and filmy songs, allowing participants to express their creativity and passion for performance.
The competition was designed to encourage students to develop their vocal skills and confidence. With a performance duration of up to two minutes, participants had the chance to deliver their pieces in front of a lively audience, fostering a supportive environment where they could shine.
Judging was based on several criteria to ensure a fair evaluation of each performance. These included:
- Time Management: Participants needed to effectively manage their time, ensuring their performances fit within the two-minute limit.
- Voice Quality: Judges assessed the clarity, tone, and strength of each participant’s voice, important elements in delivering an impactful performance.
- Clarity of Speech: For recitation, clear articulation was essential, allowing the audience to engage fully with the content.
- Stage Presence: Performers were evaluated on their confidence and ability to connect with the audience, which is crucial in any performance.
