Christ the King Public School’s reopening ceremony took place on June 5, 2024, Wednesday. The event, which marked the start of the new school year and was held in the school auditorium, was attended by teachers, and students who were full of zeal and energy.
There was smile on every face, including students and staff, as they set for the school’s 1st assembly 2024.
The program incorporated a progression of occasions that featured the school’s obligation to scholastic greatness and the local area soul.
The event was hosted by Ms. Shifa – Ms. Shifa welcomed everyone to the event and gave an overview of the program’s schedule. The day started off with a positive note and with full of hopes for the New year.
Welcome Address- Ms. Zeeta
Ms. Zeeta gave the welcome speech, thanking the staff and students for their consistent help and support. She emphasized education’s significance and the school’s goal of creating a nurturing environment.
The Light from the Lamp
The formal lighting of the light was directed by the head, Fr. Paul , Principal and a number of teachers. This action represented the end of darkness and the dawn of knowledge and wisdom for the forthcoming academic year.
Prayer song – Petition Melody and Unique Supplication for School and Staff
A special prayer for the school and its staff was accompanied by a heartfelt prayer song led by the teachers. The prayers wished for a productive and successful year ahead.
Welcome Dance by – A talented group of students of grade 9 and 10 gave a
happy and cheering welcome dance. The audience was captivated by the dance performance.
The New Staff were introduced by the manager Fr Divya Paul .
The audience was introduced to the new teaching staff members and were welcomed by the principal. Applause greeted each new employee, and the Manager spoke about their qualifications and the roles they would be playing at the school.
Special Assembly was initiated by grade 10th students.
The tenth grade students introduced an extraordinary gathering in light of an instructive subject. Their presentation emphasized unity, perseverance, and academic excellence through a motivating video clipping, pledges and a brief play.
Speech by the Principal:
The Principal, Ms Sajana Priya ,tended to the social affairs with a rousing discourse. She talked about the achievements of the school over the past year, the goals for the upcoming year, and how important it is for students, teachers and parents to work together to achieve these goals.
Speech of the Manager- Rev. Fr. Paul
Rev. Fr. Paul, the head of the school offered guidance and support. He said that he was in favour of the school’s programs and initiatives.
Vote of thanks – Ms. Vani
Ms. Vani gave a thank-you note at the end of the program. She thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the event, including the speakers, performers, organizers, and attendees. She specifically thanked the Manager for his constant support, principal for guiding the teachers, school administration, teachers, and students for their dedication and hard work.
Everyone left with a sense of optimism and enthusiasm for the upcoming academic year because the reopening program was such a success. It set an inspirational vibe for the year ahead, with an emphasis on scholarly accomplishment, social improvement and area commitment.
