Christ the King Public School hosted a heartwarming Father’s Day celebration on June 28th, inviting the fathers of our kindergarten students to join their children for a fun-filled morning of activities and games.

The event commenced at 10:00 AM with a welcome speech by Ms. Bhagya, setting a cheerful and inviting tone for the day. Following the welcome address, our manager and correspondent, Father Dr. Divia Paul, took charge of the event. He began by highlighting the significant role of a father’s involvement in a child’s growth and development.

The celebration featured several engaging games designed to foster bonding between fathers and their children. The first game, which took considerable time due to the numerous attempts by the enthusiastic participants, involved grabbing a falling piece of a small tube from a pole. The second game, the piggyback jump, required fathers to carry their children on their backs while holding a cone between their feet and hopping to the finish line. The third game tested the participants’ balance as they had to carry a cone on their backs, bend down, and walk to the finish line. Lastly, the color identification game had fathers quickly moving towards specified colors.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and sportive spirit as fathers and children enjoyed each game. Prizes were awarded to the top three winners of each game, adding an element of competition and thrill to the event. Additionally, two pairs were recognized for the best-dressed outfits, showcasing their creativity and style.

The day concluded with a session of chit-chat, snacks, and a large photo session. Father Dr. Divia Paul was the showstopper, captivating everyone with his humility and affection towards the children. His presence and involvement made the event even more special for the fathers and their little ones. The main programme with events ended by 12:00pm. Overall, the Father’s Day celebration at Christ the King Public School was a resounding success, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a strengthened bond between fathers and their children.
