“A Life not lived for others is not a life.” – Mother Teresa
Inspired by the beautiful words of Mother Teresa, the Cubs, Bulbuls, and Bunnies of Christ The King Public School, participated in a meaningful social outreach programme on 20th February 2026, with a visit to the ‘Little Sisters of the Poor’.
The programme was meticulously organized by the manager and correspondent, Rev. Father Divya Paul and supported wholeheartedly by our beloved Principal, Ms Sajana Priya.
The children were accompanied by the dedicated teachers — Ms. Jyothi, Ms. Fathima, Ms. Bharathi, Ms. Kalpana, Ms. Victoria, Ms. Evangeline, and Mr. Bosco — whose guidance and encouragement made this outreach truly meaningful impactful.
The teachers who accompanied the Cubs and Bulbuls, played a pivotal role in mentoring, guiding and nurturing in the children, the spirit of compassion and service. The children generously extended their helping hands to those in need, sharing love, kindness, and joy with the elderly residents. Their enthusiasm and warm gestures reflected a true understanding of the value of caring for others.
It was indeed a meaningful journey for everyone involved. Through this experience, there was a lot of learning involved – that life becomes truly meaningful when we help others and spread happiness wherever we go. Such activities shape young hearts to grow into responsible and compassionate individuals.
Adding to the learning experience, a fire safety awareness demonstration was conducted by officials from the fire station. The children gained basic knowledge about fire safety measures, protocols and emergency preparedness, making the programme both service-oriented and educational.
The visit was a memorable and enriching experience — an eye opener and a beautiful reminder that small acts of kindness can make a humongous difference, and that love and kindness are truly contagious
“Little deeds of kindness, little deeds of goodness, makes the Earth an Eden , like the heavens above.”
