The Graduation Day ceremony commenced with the anchors, Lopamudra and Justina, warmly introducing the graduates and setting the tone for the meaningful occasion. The program began with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and new beginnings.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Monica, Principal of St. Germain’s PU College, was the chief guest for the day’s event.
A proud and dignified march of the graduates was coordinated by Ms. Bhavana, Mr Nagappa, and Ms Supriya. The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Sheeba, who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the importance of the occasion.
The school choir, led by Mr. Maurice, Ms. Simmi, and Sr. Manisha, rendered a melodious prayer song that created a serene and reverent atmosphere.
The Principal, Ms Sajana Priya, then administered the Graduation Oath, inspiring the students to uphold values of integrity, responsibility, and excellence in their future endeavours. The manager and correspondent, Rev Dr Divia Paul, spoke on the significance of the day, encouraging the graduates to move forward with faith, courage, and determination.
This was followed by the presentation of mementoes to the graduates by the chief guest Ms Monica, the manager and the principal
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Monica, Principal of St. Germain’s PU College, addressed the graduates and emphasized the importance of the Spiritual Quotient (SQ) over Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Intelligence Quotient (IQ). She advised the students to use their time wisely and reminded them that graduation is not an end, but the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. She also addressed parents, encouraging them to support their children with understanding and patience rather than pressure, spending quality time with the, and advised teachers to continue playing a supportive and guiding role.
A heartfelt Good Luck Speech was delivered by Tharkesh of Grade 9, wishing the seniors (graduates), success and happiness in their future journeys.
The ceremony also recognized excellence, as awards for academic proficiency and 100% attendance were presented to deserving students. Ms. Lavanya T. H formally declared the award recipients.
Soon after, the exchange of gifts from Grade 10 to Grade 9 students, marked a touching moment of Graduation Day, reflecting gratitude, cherished memories, and a heartfelt send-off.
The audience included students from Grades 5 to 9, parents of the graduates, school alumni, and members of the school community, all of whom witnessed and celebrated the achievements of the graduating class.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms Nanda Kalal, remembering everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
The program concluded on a joyful note, with snacks and beverages served to the graduates , their parents and the guests, providing an opportunity for fellowship and celebration.
