A special assembly was held on 10th of September, 2025, in the auditorium at Christ the King Public school, to honour the services of two senior teachers, Ms Teresa Simon and Ms Zeeta Monis.
Ms Teresa Simon has been honoured by the Malleswaram Civic Society for her illustrious and dedicated service at Christ The King Public School. As one of the seniormost teachers, Ms Teresa has touched many hearts and shaped many lives, with her unwavering dedication, integrity, professionalism and fostering a positive effect in the institution. She has illuminated the institution, not merely as an educator, but as a guiding light and beacon of hope, whose passion for teaching ignited a spark in every student she encountered. She sees the potential in every student, offering her support and advice, helping them overcome obstacles and discover their own capabilities.
Ms Zeeta Monis, was honoured with the ‘Teacher of the year’, award, based on an election system, where teachers had to cast their votes for the teacher whom they feel truly deserved this honour, and as a platform to recognise and celebrate someone who inspires us within the school environment we share – as part of the Teacher’s Day Initiative, 2025-26. Ms Zeeta has been very instrumental, in laying a strong and impactful foundation for the students, guiding them with patience and determination. Beyond her exceptional teaching skills, she has also been a pillar of strength and inspiration for her colleagues.
The manager and correspondent, Rev Dr Paul, the principal, Ms Sajana Priya, the staff and students, wholeheartedly congratulated both Ms Teresa and Ms Zeeta for this well-deserved recognition, commitment, dedication, and loving service to thousands of children over the years, which is truly inspiring.
We are extremely proud of you, and your noble journey so far at Christ the King Public school, Mrs. Teresa and Ms Zeeta; may you continue to be a radiant beacon of knowledge, inspiration, and light in the lives of many.
