The Red day was celebrated with great excitement and enthusiasm at Christ the King Public School on the 29th of July, 2025, Tuesday by the Pre-School students. The in charge teachers were Ms D Vimala and Ms Victoria.
The main objective of the Red Day was to introduce children to the colour red and its significance.
There were a lot of fun activities conducted.
Paper Tearing – where students engaged in a fun paper-tearing activity, exploring their creativity.
The students also engaged in a fun and creative activity – palm priming art on old T-shirts! The children used red paint to make palm prints on their T-shirts, creating unique and personalized designs.
There was also a Rangoli competition where students showcased their artistic skills through Rangoli art, filling the space with vibrant colors and designs.
Judges for the competition were the Principal, Ms. Sajana Priya and Ms Kalpana.
The Principal Ms. Sajana Priya distributed prizes to the winners, encouraging and motivating the young participants.
Highlights
1.Red-themed decorations: The classrooms were decorated with red balloons, flowers, streamers and toys.
2. Red dress code: Students and teachers wore red clothes and accessories.
3. Red-colored snacks: Students enjoyed red-coloured snacks like strawberries, cherries, red apples etc..
Learning outcomes:
1. Students learned about the color red and its significance.
2. Developed creativity and imagination through red-themed activities.
3. Enhanced social skills through interactive games and snacks.
Conclusion:
The event was engaging, interactive, and fun, making it a memorable experience for all. The celebration was a resounding success, with preschool students actively participating in both activities. The Red Day celebration at Christ the King Public School was a delightful experience for the preschool students, showcasing their artistic talents and enthusiasm.
The event fostered creativity, teamwork, and self-expression among the young learners. We appreciate the efforts of Ms. Vimala, Ms. Victoria, Principal, Ms. Sajana Priya and all the preschool teachers for making this event a memorable one.
