The Pre-Primary Orientation Programme for the academic year 2025–2026 was held on June 14th, 2025 at Christ the King Public School with great enthusiasm and warmth. The event was organized to welcome the new batch of pre-primary parents and to help them gain insight into the school’s vision, mission and academic approach.
The program began with a warm welcome by Ms. Netravathi, the Pre-Primary Coordinator, who expressed her joy in receiving the parents and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between parents and the school for the holistic development of the children.
To invoke divine blessings, Sr. Manisha led the gathering in a heartfelt prayer, setting a serene and spiritual tone for the day.
This was followed by the traditional Lighting of the Lamp ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. The lamp was lit by a group of dignitaries including Rev. Fr. Dr. Divia Paul (Manager and Correspondent), Ms. Sajna Priya (Principal), parent representative Ms. Bharti, two pre-primary teachers and a student representative.
The Principal, Ms. Sajna Priya, then delivered the Welcome Address, warmly greeting the parents and expressing her hopes for a fruitful academic year ahead. She highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds in a joyful and enriching environment.
The highlight of the program was the presentation by Rev. Fr. Dr. Divia Paul, who eloquently spoke about the vision and mission of the school. He emphasized the values the institution stands for and also shared a few important guidelines and expectations for the academic year to ensure smooth coordination between the school and the parents.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Vimala, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, parents, and staff for making the event meaningful and successful.
The orientation program set a positive tone for the year ahead and strengthened the bond between the school and parents, laying the foundation for a nurturing and productive academic journey for the young learners.
