Orientation Programme 2025–26 at CKPS

The Orientation Programme for the parents of newly admitted students, for the academic year 2025–26 was held on June 14th, 2025 at Christ the King Public School with great enthusiasm and warmth. The event was organized to welcome the new batch of students with their parents and to help them gain insight into the school’s vision, mission and academic approach.

The anchor for the day’s event was Ms Monica Majoy, who with her confidence and stage presence kept the audience informed and engaged.  On behalf of the entire school fraternity, she extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to the gathering.

To begin with, Sr. Sandra led the gathering in a heartfelt prayer, ushering in the day with a sense of grace and to invoke divine blessings.

This was followed by the traditional Lighting of the Lamp ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. The lamp was lit by the principal, parent representative Ms Cynthia, the primary coordinator, Ms Lavanya T H, Pre-primary coordinator,  Ms Nethravathi, and a student representative, Master Akhil.

The Principal, Ms Sajana Priya, delivered a heartfelt welcome address, and emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between parents and the school for the holistic development of the children, and set the theme for the day.

The  Manager and correspondent, Rev Dr Divia Paul, enlightened the audience with the vision, mission, and values that steer the institution forward, with his insightful and inspiring words.

The manager and Principal highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds in a joyful and enriching environment. They emphasized the values the institution stands for and also shared a few important guidelines and expectations for the academic year to ensure smooth coordination between the school and the parents.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Zeeta Monis, who expressed her heartfelt appreciation to all dignitaries, parents and staff for making the event meaningful, informative and resourceful.

The orientation program set a positive and welcoming ambience for the year ahead and strengthened the bond between the school and parents, inline with the motto- ‘Wisdom, Strength and Knowledge’, thus laying a strong foundation for a nurturing and productive academic journey for the Chrisities.
