My name is Aashita Chauhan
I’ve been at this school since LKG, but I’ll start my story from class 3. That’s when everything changed after the two-year gap from the COVID pandemic. During those years, I spent most of my time with my dear grandparents, and those moments will always be the most precious in my life. They only spoke Hindi and Punjabi, so got very comfortable with those languages too.
When I returned to school, it was my biggest challenge as I didn’t know Kannada, and I wasn’t confident in English. My classmates would come to me, smile, and I’d smile back, but then they’d leave. This went on for six months. But there was one special person who always encouraged me-my class teacher, then, Teresa Ma’am.
She pushed me gently and sometimes scolded me to do better. Thanks to her kind support, I topped the class for the first time. Slowly, my confidence grew. She had been my pillar of support
Then, in class 4, I felt like I was floating in a fairy tale because my favourite teacher, Vani Ma’am. became my class teacher, I made many new friends that year. I wanted to give my best to impress her in unit test 2, I scored 100% marks, and my attendance was perfect too. I didn’t want to miss any awards because of her
But suddenly, everything changed. One day, I had a fever, and the next, my stomach hurt badly. The doctor told my parents that my appendix had burst, and infection was spreading in my body. They operated upon me within 12 hours. I didn’t fully understand what was happening. Before the operation I had informed my parents to inform Vani Ma’am that I wouldn’t come to school the next day. When I woke up after the surgery, she was sitting right there beside me. I was in pain inside, but I smiled and looked into her eyes. I didn’t win any awards that year, but the love and care I saw in her eyes felt bigger than any award in the world
I loved coming to school, but after the operation, those recovery days were so hard-only I know how I got through them. I promised myself to always put my health first. After a long break, I joined class 5 and met my class teacher, Lavanya Ma’am She also teaches science, which is my favourite subject I’ve already shared all my feelings with her, but this is the first time I’m saying that in my dreams, I’ve travelled to so many planets with her in a rocket.
Now, I’m in class 6. At first, I was in section A, but it changed to B, and I felt a bit upset because I was excited for Maggie Ma am’s class But sometimes, God’s plans are better than ours. I met my class teacher, Reema Ma am. She has such a good heart. Every time she hugs me. I want to keep that moment in my heart forever. She treats all students equally-with love sometimes, and gentle scolding when needed. If she’s even a little late for class, my classmates and I go to the staff room to find her if she’s absent. The whole day feels empty, and Honestly, I don’t know how to describe her in words. I can only say that she’s God’s masterpiece – an angel in CKPS. I feel truly fortunate to be in her class.
My parents often worry about my nature because I’m quiet. But I’m not worried. I read in a book that silence isn’t weakness, it’s wisdom. It’s choosing peace over unnecessary fights Stay calm, focus on your goals, work quietly, and let your success speak for itself.
I’ll leave my story incomplete for now because I still have more memories to make with my friends and teachers. I don’t know what I’ll do in life, but when I leave this school, I want to carry all the beautiful memories and moral values it gave me in the end. I just want to say – always be kind and humble.
Thank you
