MotoGP is the pinnacle of World Championship Road Racing. It developed primarily in Europe after the FIM (Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme) consolidated the regulations for motorcycle competition for the first time in 1949.It is a part of grand pix motorcycle racing
Grand pix motorcycle race is divided into three classes i.e 125cc(cubic capacity)bikes racing,250 cc bikes racing and then comes the MOTOGP racing which include bikes of above 1,000 cc .It earlier also had the 650cc segment racing and due to some reasons it was stopped.
THE BIKES:
These bikes are very powerful in the MOTOGP class . Here the bike and the rider’s safety is very important . These bikes have brakes are made up of carbon-ceramic disc for the front wheel and back wheel are framed with Brembo carbon discs. These carbon brakes are used in the bikes because the rider pulls about 30% of time in every lap ,so that the brakes are quick enough to slow down the bike.
Mostly these bikes have 230 hp(Horsepower) and 120 Nm torque. Some of these bikes are tuned by the racers for getting more power so the bike is tuned and horse power are increased to 250hp but less than 300. The aerodynamics of the of bike is changed for racing.
CONCLUSION
MotoGP bike racing stands as one of the most thrilling and dynamic motorsports in the world, captivating fans with its blend of speed, precision, and strategy. The evolution of technology, from lighter and more powerful engines to advanced aerodynamics and electronics, has raised the level
