The Investiture Ceremony at Christ The King Public School was held on the 5th of July, 2025, with great enthusiasm, unfolding a new chapter for the academic year. It was a day to show the essence of leadership and responsibility, recognize and appoint the young leaders who lead by example, inspire their peers, and uphold the values of our institution.
The Chief Guest for the day’s event was His Excellency, Most Rev. Arockiaraj Satish, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Bangalore, whose presence added grace and dignity to the occasion.
The other dignitaries were the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Santhosh Kumar, Our Manager, Rev. Dr. Divya Paul and Our Principal, Ms. Sajana Priya. The dignitaries, were warmly welcomed with the band salute.
The main program was in the auditorium where the dignitaries, staff and enthusiastic students had gathered. Ms Monica Majoy , with her powerful voice, charismatic personality and stage presence was the MoC for the day’s event, keeping the audience informed and entertained.
Firstly, we had the prayer song for this solemn occasion, by the school choir, led by Mr Maurice, the music teacher, Sr Manisha and Ms Jancy. This was followed by the Ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp by the esteemed dignitaries, along with the Coordinator, Ms Sheeba and the SPL, Kundanika. Next was the scripture reading by the students, Deeksha and Nanda.
Soon after, was the vibrant Welcome Dance, to celebrate the graceful performance that reflects culture, rhythm, and celebration. Ms Justina formally welcomed everyone with the welcome address, and expressed gratitude to all dignitaries and guests.
Ms Simmi and Ms Vani took turns in introducing the student leaders, as His Excellency, Rev. Arokyaraj Satish, and the Manager, Rev. Dr. Divya Paul, presented the flags and badges to the newly elected leaders of our school. The Principal, Ms. Sajana Priya, administered the Oath to the newly appointed Student Council. The audience in unison, stood up to sing the School Anthem, a song that binds us in loyalty, pride, and unity.
This was followed by the speech delivered by the School Pupil leader. The manager and principal felicitated the chief guest with a shawl and bouquet. They also congratulated the newly elected leaders, sharing their thoughts on what it calls to be a true leader, backed by commitment and responsibility.
His Excellency, Most Rev. Arockiaraj Satish, shared his words of wisdom and blessings, mentioning that leadership is not just about wearing a badge, a title or a position, but a calling, one that involves service, sacrifice and integrity.
The investiture ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms Shaheen, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem.
