The annual Science and Arts Exhibition was held at Christ The King Public School  on  the 28th of October 2025 in the school auditorium.

The event celebrated the spirit of curiosity, creativity, and scientific thinking among students from Nursery to Grade 10.

Students from various grades enthusiastically participated and displayed their projects in the Science and Art categories.

The teachers in the organizing committee were Ms Lavanya T H, Ms Rose Maggi, Ms Kalpana, Ms Kiruthiga, Ms Vimala,  Ms Radha Dayanand, Ms Savitha, Ms Jancy, Ms Nanda Kalal, Mr Adarsh and Ms Priya Dsouza.

The event was hosted with grace and poise by Ms. Rose Maggi, who served as the Master of Ceremonies, with her enriching tone and voice, kept the audience, informed and engaged.

The chief guest and judges of the day were Dr Sudha Ravindranath (Retired senior Scientist , ISRO), Dr Vikram ( Academy head and Director, Vikram group of institutions) and Rev Fr ,Jude Santhosh, Parish Priest, Christ the king Church.

The formal inauguration began at 9 : 30 am at the entrance to the school auditorium, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting by the dignitaries, and the the declaration of ‘Innovista 2025’ , open by Dr Sudha Ravindranth.

The manager and correspondent, Rev Dr Paul spoke on the significance of the day, the very purpose of hosting the exhibition as a learning platform and the expectations. The principal Ms Sajana Priya, spoke on the importance of science and maths, along with art, and how the three subjects are intertwined.

Dr Sudha Ravindranath addressed the gathering, lauding the school for its efforts hosting an exhibition of this kind, where students get to showcase their skills , talents, innovation and creativity. She also said that earlier, no such exhibitions or innovative events were hosted and the study of Math and Science was mostly limited to study from textbooks, within the four walls of a classroom. She also in particular mentioned, that winning or losing is secondary, what is important is the spirit and zeal to participate, and that truly matters, because it must be taken as  a learning experience, not as a competition.

The judges, dignitaries and guests of honour went around, to view the displays and presentations of the students in batches, providing their feedback, suggestions and inputs

Students were at their innovative best as they as they displayed and demonstrated experiments, magic squares, circulatory system, energy sources, innovative recycling techniques, projects from robotics, to name some, and paintings, and other artistic presentations. They presented a diverse range of static and working models enthusiastically and the auditorium was ablaze with colour, sound, vibrations and patterns, with integration science math technology art and robotics, fuelled by passion and creativity.

The manager and correspondent, congratulated the in charge teachers, staff and students who worked tirelessly in coordination for the event. The exhibition was open to parents from 2 pm onwards. There was an overwhelming response from parents and visitors.

The exhibition provided the opportunity to students to execute their scientific and artistic ideas and a platform to demonstrate their creativity to fellow students, the staff and the visitors. It taught us how we need to look beyond the world of textbooks, need to think more creatively, critically and innovatively

The feedback section was monitored by Ms Monica Majoy and Ms Lavanya Christopher , who collected the responses suggestions and feedback from the staff and visitors , as to what went well, and what could have gone better.

The management thanked the main in charge teachers as well as the supporting teachers for their significant role in guiding the students and for organizing the show very effectively.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and an inspiring address by the Principal, Ms. Sajana Priya, who commended the tireless efforts of students and teachers. She emphasized the importance of nurturing curiosity and scientific inquiry in young minds to prepare them for a rapidly evolving world.

To sum up, Innovista 2025 was a resounding success, leaving an indelible impression on all attendees and reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education and innovation. It was a great learning experience for both the students and teachers, a day with budding Picasso’s and Einstein’s, our little innovators, a day that ignited the flame of passion , creativity and inquisitiveness in our young students and above all, a day that saw the  fusion of art and science come alive
