Christ the King Public school organized the 78th Independence day celebration at the school entrance. The Programme commenced at 8.30am with Chief Guest Rev Fr Divia Paul Hoisting the National Flag.
Students performed innovative programme such as Prayer Salutation, Patriotic dances songs and tribute to Indian National Leaders. The certificates were distributed for various competitions in which students had participated ealier in the month. In honor of Independence day, the Bulletin Board Competition was conducted. Grade 1 A bagged the 1st prize , grade 5 A & 2 B bagged the 2nd prize and the 3rd prize was bagged by grade 8 along with UKG A. They were given special prizes. The sweets were distributed for all and thus we moved home with sense of pride and patriotism.
Competitions for the month of August
The competitions for the month of August such as Face Painting, Origami and Jewellery Making for grade VI to X on the theme of Independence day and Spell Bee for 1 to V. were held on 2nd August 2024, inline with the spirit of Independence day.
The spell Bee for Juniors was written as well as oral which was very motivating. Students were excited and participated in the competition with enthused spirit and exhibited their talents and skills. Students participated in meaningful learning through these activities as a preparation for the Independence Day.
