Objective: To explore and learn about fruits and vegetables.

Introduction

As part of the nutrition and health curriculum,our LKG ‘A’ and LKG ‘B’ section children visited “Reliance Mart” to learn about various fruits and vegetables and their nutritional benefits . This trip was conducted to understand of healthy eating. Children were exploring the variety of fruits and vegetables on display.

They learned to identify different fruits and vegetables, colour of fruits and vegetables and it’s textures. The teacher discussed the nutritional benefits of various fruits and vegetables. We discussed food safety guidelines for handling and storing fruits and vegetables.

Conclusion

Our educational trip to “Reliance Mart ” was a hands-on learning experience, deepening our understanding of fruits, vegetables and healthy eating. Children gained practical knowledge about the importance of healthy eating and developed their observational skills by identifying and recording the various types of fruits and vegetables on display
