Children’s day Celebrations at Christ the King  Public School

Nov 21, 2025 | Events

Tomorrow’s India is the children of today. How we raise them will be what the country becomes.”

Children’s Day was celebrated with great fiesta and excitement at Christ The King Public school on the 14th November, 2025 .The entire school, including the staff rooms, lobbies, ground and the classrooms, were adorned with festoons, colourful balloons, dolls, posters, flowers and streamers, creating a cheerful and festive atmosphere.

The children arrived at school, dressed in coloured attire as little princes and princesses to partake in the celebrations.

The entire programme was systematically planned, organized and executed by the organizing committee, headed by Ms Jyothi (Scouts and guides coordinator) and Ms Padmavati.

The programme began with a special morning assembly where the manager and correspondent, Rev Dr Divia Paul, and Principal, Ms Sajana Priya addressed the students, highlighting the importance of the day.

During the morning session, the celebrations were held in the auditorium. The anchors were Ms Madhavi and Ms Jennifer, who kept the audience, informed and entertained. We had the prayer song, followed by the Welcome speech by Ms Savitha. This was followed by the ‘wishing song’ by the entire staff.

We had the felicitation of the dignitaries – the manager, Principal and Rev Fr Jude Santhosh, parish priest , Christ the king church. The SPL, Kundanika and ASPL, Tharkesh, were also felicitated.  The chief guest of the day was Master Mitansh, of UKG, along with his parents was honoured with a shawl, a bouquet and a memento, for his remarkable achievements in skating- with79 minutes of nonstop skating marathon, organized on Independence Day 2025- making it to the Guinness Indian book of world records.

There were enthralling and captivating group dance performances by the staff, fashion show by the teaching, non-teaching and support staff, who set the stage on fire, with music, colour and rhythm, concluding with the Vote of Thanks by Ms Priya.

To add to the fun, frenzy and excitement, the latter part of the afternoon, saw the entire Christ the King school grounds come alive with fire and flavour. We had exciting food and game stalls, in the school grounds, next to the area adjoining the pickle ball court. Stalls, with mouthwatering refreshments, snacks, and beverages, not to mention jamun, sandwiches, burgers and ice creams, managed by the staff along with student volunteers, were set up, where the students and parents thronged in large numbers.

The other attractions, were the DJ dance organized by Ms Supriya, Ms Rachel and team, photo booth and the lucky dip. The school grounds were filled with fun, food and music.

But the highlight of the day, was in the basement arena – ‘the scary house ‘, meticulously set up by Ms Kalpana and team.

On the whole, everyone at the school campus enjoyed to the fullest, carrying back home positive vibes, tears of unbounding joy, memories of childhood and love.

The manager, principal and the staff, together with student volunteers, had put their heart and soul into making the event a special one and a memorable one for everyone.

There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way it treats its children.
