Chess class is one of the after-school activities that students can participate in. The class is conducted by Bhavna Madam, who teaches us important aspects of chess such as defence, offense, and strategic thinking. Many students enthusiastically attend the chess class and enjoy learning new techniques.

Chess is not just about how many pieces you have, but about how wisely you use them. Losing a piece or even a match is not always bad, because every loss or every move  teaches us something new. It helps us learn better strategies, understand different positions, and improve our decision-making skills. Chess encourages us to think carefully and develop patience and confidence.

The chess class is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn, improve their skills, and enjoy the game while developing strong thinking abilities.

I am truly thankful to Ms Bhavana . She teaches us with patience, guiding us, providing hints wherever required on different strategies to adopt. Each game, each move, each scenario is unique.
